In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and the continued presence of the seasonal influenza (flu) virus, we are taking proactive steps to address a number of concerns. First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and/or adopt practices protecting the health of employees, customers, visitors or others. We also want to ensure the much needed and relied upon medically necessary services and business operations during this pandemic.
We take the health of your family and our staff seriously and have based the following policies on CDC and WA DOH recommendations:
- Wellness Check with health screening questions conducted on our staff and clients, daily
- Limited staff/client interaction:
- Minimizing the number of Behavior Technicians on each team
- Separated therapy areas in our clinics, designated for 1 BT and 1 Client
- BCBA Supervision and Parent Training provided using Telehealth when possible
- Every DBS employee is provided cleaning supplies to keep their work area clean
- Handwashing on the hour for both staff and clients
- Uniform Change
- DBS employees are required to wear clean scrubs to every session
- Face Masks are required for DBS employees when indoors or when not able to maintain 6ft of social distance
- Extra cleaning time provided to our staff at our clinics to disinfect used areas before and after every session
